Velasco Reef (known locally as β€œNgaruangl”). Two days (2015-1-28 and 2015-2-1) were spent surveying and sampling the reefs of Velasco, though very few P. acuta colonies were observed. Check out this cool article on Velasco’s seagrass meadows.

PaVl55 sampled Seriatopora spp. colonies (n=2; PaSe129-130)

PaVl56 (2015-1-28) P. acuta was not found at this leeward barrier forereef site.

PaVl56 sampled Seriatopora spp. colonies (n=6; PaSe131-136)

PaVl66 (2015-2-1) Neither P. acuta nor Seriatopora spp. were observed at this windward barrier forereef site.

PaVl67 (2015-2-1) Neither P. acuta nor Seriatopora spp. were observed at this windward barrier forereef site.

PaVl68 (2015-2-1) No P. acuta colonies were seen at this leeward barrier forereef.

PaVl68 sampled Seriatopora spp. colonies (n=6; PaSe158-163)
